SovDrain Channel End Outlet

The SovDrain Channel End Outlet has been designed to fit directly on the end of SovDrain channel enabling water to be removed where gravity fed drainage is an option.

The SovDrain Channel End Outlet converts the irregular hexagonal shape of the Channel into a round aperture. A 43mm PVC pipe is simply solvent welded to the outlet enabling any water to be discharged from the Channel into a ‘P’ trapped gully or to a soakaway. A non-return should be fitted ensure water cannot get back into the system.

Note: The Channel End Outlet must not be used to drain water from the Channel directly into foul drainage or into a stack pipe. Due to a risk of pungent smells emanating into the Channel peripheral drainage system.

Benefits and features

  • Quick easy connection
  • Dry fit installation

SovDrain Channel 2m

Sovereign SovDrain Channel is a P.V.C. drainage conduit designed for the control of water ingress in below ground situations.

The channel which is pre-formed in an irregular hexagonal shape with pre-drilled 19mm drainage holes set 125mm apart along its 2-metre length, SovDrain Channel is fitted around the perimeter of the floor at the vulnerable wall/floor junction, as part of the SovDrain waterproofing system.

Benefits and features

  • 2 Metres
  • Easily cut to length
  • Pre-drilled 19mm drainage holes set 125mm apart

SovDrain Channel Connector

Sovereign SovDrain Channel connector. PVC drainage connector to join two sections of SovDrain Channel together to form a continuous drainage channel.

The 52mm width SovDrain channel connector which is pre-formed in an irregular hexagonal shape to match that of the SovDrain Channel, this is a dry fit installation so no adhesive required, as part of the SovDrain waterproofing system.

Benefits and Features

  • Quick easy connection
  • Dry fit installation

CDM20 Membrane 2m x 10m

CDM20 membrane provides robust drainage for below ground applications to floors as
part of the SovDrain waterproofing system.

This membrane has a profile of just 20mm thus maximising head room, whilst maintaining high air
gap and drainage capacity.

Fast track application, to floor areas such as:

• Cellars
• Basements
• Vaults
• Tunnels

Dimensions in mm (W,H,D): 220 x 2000 x 220

SovDrain Jetting Eye

The SovDrain Jetting Eyes (cleaning ports/rodding eyes) should be incorporated into the channel to allow for periodic inspection, maintenance and cleaning of the drainage system. The jetting eye has a removable cap for access this can also be extended with the simple addition of 43mm dia pipe solvent welded on to the existing. It is recommended that 1 Jetting Eye be fitted for at least approximately every 10 linear metre run of SovDrain Channel installed.

The SovDrain Jetting Eye is pre-formed in an irregular hexagonal shape to match that of the SovDrain Channel and simply linked to the SovDrain channel using SovDrain Channel connectors, this is a dry fit installation so no adhesive required, as part of the SovDrain waterproofing system.

Benefits and Features

  • Jetting port for maintenance
  • Quick easy connection
  • Dry fit installation

SovDrain Channel Corner Piece

SovDrain Corner Pieces are used in a 90 degree change in direction of the SovDrain Channel.

Can be used for both internal and external corners and has a jetting port incorporated for periodic inspection, maintenance and cleaning of the drainage system.

The SovDrain Corner Piece is pre-formed in an irregular hexagonal shape to match that of the SovDrain Channel, this is a dry fit installation so no adhesive required, as part of the SovDrain waterproofing system.

Benefits and Features

  • Quick easy connection
  • Dry fit installation
  • Includes jetting port for maintenance
  • Jetting port easily extended with 43mm dia waste pipe

SovDrain CDM20 2mx20m

SovDrain CDM20 provides a robust drainage membrane suitable for below ground applications to floors as part of the SovDrain waterproofing system. This membrane has a profile of just 20mm thus maximising head room, whilst maintaining high drainage capacity.

Allows for fast application to floor areas where the intention to protect new floor finishes from the effects of water ingress in below ground waterproofing, in areas such as:

  • Cellars
  • Basements
  • Vaults
  • Tunnels

Once sealed the floor can then be covered with the desired finish, such as insulation and a screed (minimum 70mm) or floating floor for example.

Dimensions in mm (W,H,D): 430x2000x430

SovDrain CDM 8 – 2m x 20m

Sovdrain CDM 8 provides a robust drainage membrane suitable for use above and below ground on walls, floors and arched/vaulted ceilings, as part of the SovDrain waterproofing system. This membrane has a low profile (8mm) thus minimising wall and floor level changes.

SovDrain CDM 8 allows for a fast track application, where the intention to protect new finishes from the effects of dampness and/or salt contamination in above ground situations and water ingress in below ground waterproofing in areas such as cellars, basements, vaults, and tunnels.

The CDM 8 membrane is typically finished with either a pre-treated timber stud partition wall and plasterboard or independent stud metal frame system. The floors can be finished with a Sovereign SBR modified screed (minimum 65mm) or a floating floor.

Benefits and features

  • Also available in 2.4m width
  • Provides quick and fast track application to walls and floor areas
  • Strong, pliable material
  • Compressive Strength >200kN/m2
  • Drainage/flow capacity 4 litres/sec
  • Air gap volume: 5 litres/m2
  • Low stud membrane profile, where space is at a premium
  • Cleaner with less disruption during installation
  • Easily repaired if damaged during installation
  • Minimal wet trades required (Only final skimming of plasterboards)
  • Highly resistant to degradation by all common chemicals
