Sovereign Flamacryl is an acrylic joint sealant, which in the event of a fire will intumesce (swell) to form an insulting char that is fire resistant and will resist the passage of smoke and fire.

Sovereign Flamacryl is an acrylic joint sealant, which in the event of a fire will intumesce (swell) to form an insulting char that is fire resistant and will resist the passage of smoke and fire. It cures to form a tough seal with movement joint accommodation of +/- 12.5%. Flamacryl is suitable for use in joints where an acoustic seal is required. Can be over painted when cured.

Sovereign Flamacryl is used for sealing expansion, contraction and construction joints where comparmentation and movement are factors; as a bedding sealing compound for locating fire resistant board systems; to seal gaps which occur between fire-rated building components and the surrounding structures i.e. window and door frames; and as a service penetration seal system for both cables and pipes.
