LOW ODOUR FUNGI/INSECTICIDE FLX

Dual-purpose solvent based wood preservative for the safe, effective prevention and eradication of both wood destroying fungi and wood boring insects. 

Sovereign Low Odour Fungicide Insecticide FLX not only contains two powerful fungicides, Propiconazole and IPBC but it also utilises the safety and efficacy of Flurox™ as the insecticide. Unlike other insecticides in common use Flurox™ (an insect growth regulator) does not act upon the central nervous system of the insect or larvae but prevents the larvae from forming a new outer skin (chitin). A larvae grows and sheds its outer skin up to 13 times during its lifecycle, by preventing the formation of a new outer skin Flurox™ blocks the natural life cycle of the insect at specific stages in its development, the larvae can no longer grow and therefore dies. By acting in this manner and not affecting the central nervous system Flurox™ is widely regarded as the safest insecticide in use.

Suitable for all types of wet rot and dry rot, where chemical treatment is necessary

After use of this prodcut unprotected persons and animals should be kept away from treated areas for 48 hours or until surfaces are dry. For faster re-entry times (1 hour) we recommend the use of Sovaq FLX water-based concentrates.

All Sovereign solvented wood preservatives are manufactured with a de-aromatised solvent (low odour) and have a flashpoint in excess of 61^oC which means that they are not classified as flammable for carriage unlike most other solvented products on the market.
