Product Description
A waterproofing additive for incorporation into the backing render coat after installation of a damp proof course. Used in sand:cement renders, it also provides workability so that further admixtures are not required. Used as recommended ensures that hygroscopic salts are prevented from moving to the surface plaster and exhibiting secondary dampness.
Form Supplied: Liquid Concentrate
Packaging: 5 litres and 25 litres liquid
Colour Range: Blue viscous liquid
Coverage Rate: Dilute 1 part Rendermix to 40 parts water as gauging. Mixing stronger will be detrimental to final cure strength
Contains: Blend of silicate and fatty acid
Shelf Life: 12 months. Store between 5°C and 25°C
The use of Rendermix as described in the Sovereign Re-rendering Specification ensures the hygroscopic salts are prevented from moving to the surface plaster and exhibiting secondary dampness. Rendermix is not a vapour barrier and so will allow the walls to dry out and breathe naturally.
