Sovereign provide a range of admixtures which are specially formulated products that are added to cement/mortar mixes to modify the properties of the mix.

These products enhance the mortar quality, providing improved durability and delivering both usage and cost benefits to the user.

The range includes air entraining agents such as Admix, Mortamix and Powder Mortar Plasticiser which are designed to improve the workability of the mix, whilst helping to prevent cracking and scaling, increasing cohesion and reducing water bleed and segregation.

Sovereign Waterproofer and Rendermix are both water resisting admixtures which are generally incorporated into external renders and renders for use after dpc installation, respectively. These additives reduce porosity of the render thus resisting the movement of moisture and salts, whilst also improving the workability of the mix.

Sovereign Anti-Freeze and Rapid Setter is an accelerating admixture used to speed up the rate of early hydration of the cement under normal conditions, or can be useful in winter months when cold temperatures are encountered as it will allow cement mixes to cure normally even in freezing conditions.

Our range includes SBR Bonding Agent which is used to polymer modify a mix and provide enhanced water resistance, bond, flexibility and durability.

Also supplied are the cement colourants, Mortex, Redtex and Browntex, being back, red and brown pigment dispersions that allow coloured mortars to be produced.
