Sovereigns’ decorative woodstains can be used to protect and beautify both internal and external timber. Our products are transparent and breathable allowing the natural wood grain to show through. SX70 is a range of solvent based coloured woodstains that can be applied directly to bare timber or previously stained wood. AQ70 is a range of water based decorative woodstains in a similar range of colours. For new joinery such as window frames that are to be stored for some timber before coating then SX70 Basecoat can be used to provide temporary weather protection. Where a higher level of protection is required SX70 Topcoat can be applied on top of SX70 Woodstain and being clear is does not darken the timber further.
