Sovereign have a range of decorative paints for most applications. Our range of decorative paints includes Sovereign SX70 and AQ70, solvent and water based transparent woodstains for interior and exterior timber. When painting oily, resinous wood then the timber should be primed with 1 or 2 coats of Sovereign Aluminium Primer to prevent the oils bleeding into subsequent coatings. Sovereign Trade Primer is a traditional oil based primer for new joinery work. Where a water based primer is required we can offer Sovereign Acrylic Primer or for more exacting requirements Sovereign Stain Blocking Primer. Our Stain Blocking Primer can be used on timber and masonry to prevent tannins, weathered bitumen etc bleeding and spoiling decoration. Sovereign Trade Gloss and Trade Emulsion are traditional decorative paints; the Trade Emulsion is particularly suitable for painting new plaster.
