BM17 BOWER BEAM (PAIR)

Sovereign Bower Beams are the simple and easy way to repair rotten joist ends. Often timber floor joists are found to be sat on damp walls or in sockets leading to decay. The traditional method for repair would require new wall sockets to be made and timber spliced on to the remaining sound timber, whilst the floor is supported from below.

Sovereign Bower Beams are simple to install, the galvanised plates are easily bolted on to the end of the beam after removing the rotten section. The plates then carry the weight of the floor in the existing socket or supporting wall. The floor is restored to its original strength.

BM17 - for joists where 17" (430mm) has been removed from the end. Comes supplied with fixings.
