Product Description
A penetrating sealant, which provides a water repellent and oil resistant finish. After application the colour is enhanced and the surface less likely to stain.
Form Supplied: Solvent based, ready for use
Packaging: 1 litre and 5 litres
Colour Range: Clear
Coverage Rate: Coverage varies with porosity of the substrate, as a guide 1 litre will treat around 10m²
Contains: Blend of resins and water repellents in solvent.
Shelf Life: 12 months. Store between 5°C and 25°C
As slate is porous material it is prone to staining, and unsealed looks dull and lifeless. After application the colour is intensified and given a "wet look". The sealant causes water and oils to bead on the surface, allowing them to be cleaned up without penetrating and staining the surface. Application of a coat of sealer prior to being laid will aid removal of grout from the surface. Sovereign Slate Sealer can also be used on other porous material such as brick and concrete. It is suitable for internal and external use.
