Sovereign Chemicals Ltd supplies a wide range of wood glues, construction adhesives and laminating contact adhesives. The range includes 4 PVA based wood adhesives, a standard version, a fast setting one, a D3 Water Resistant PVA and the ultimate D4 Water Proof PVA.

Also available are two polyurethane based adhesives, PU Rapid and Construction Adhesives, both set to form a waterproof bond in as little as 10 minutes. Supplied as a thixotropic gel in 310ml cartridges it is ideal for lots of different wood bonding and general construction jobs. Sovereign PUR Adhesive is a low viscosity wood adhesive that is moisture curing and meets the D4 classification of water resistance.

Sovereign One Shot is a traditional urea formaldehyde powdered adhesive. One Shot is mixed with water and chemically cures to form a super strong bond ideal for lots of wood bonding applications such as lamination.

Sovereign have a choice of two contact adhesives, a traditional neoprene Contact Adhesive for hand application used for laminating and Sprayable Contact Adhesive that can be applied with a pressure sprayer.

When a fast bond is required then our Super Glue is ideal for mending plastic, ceramics, wood, glass etc. For an even faster bond then Duo Fix sets instantly and is ideal as a mitre adhesive. The Activator is applied to one surface and the glue to the other. Once the surfaces are brought together a strong bond is achieved.

When it comes to construction adhesives we have a wide range, as well as the PU Rapid Construction Adhesive mentioned above, we have the ultimate adhesive and sealant in Prostick 2000. Prostick is an MS Polymer based adhesive that will bond to a wide variety of materials even in the wet. On curing it forms a tough rubber that enables it to be used as a sealant. Prostick is available in white, black and crystal clear. Also available is a solvent based Panel Adhesive for batten bonding, skirting board fixing and general construction bonding. Solvent Free Invisible Nails is a water based version of Panel Adhesive with excellent initial grab.

Where you have holes in timber to fill then Sovereign Woodfiller is the answer. Woodfiller is a 2 pack resin which cures rapidly to a sandable finish and is suitable for exterior situations. Sovereign Woodfiller is available in several colours and a special Stainable version which accepts translucent woodstains much better that a standard woodfiller.

For window fitters and general builders who have large gaps to fill we can supply a number of expanding polyurethane foams. Our standard Expanding Foam comes with a plastic dispenser tube, ideal for one off jobs. For the serious user we have a Gun Grade Expanding Foam for which we can supply a robust gun dispenser. Where gaps have to be filled to meet fire regulations then we recommend our Fire Resistant Foam, independently tested to BS 476 Part 20, B1 classification.

When it comes to cleaners we have a compact range of specialist products such as Scrub Out Black Mould and Dentolite, both of which can be used to remove and sterilise black mould on internal surfaces.

Gorilla Wipes are strong enough to remove uncured PU, oil and grease whilst being gentle enough to clean working hands. Wild Boar Silicone Silicon Remover is the safe way to remove sealant residues. Continuing on the cleaning theme Sovereign Foam Gun Cleaner is an acetone based cleaner in aerosol form. It can be used to flush though the Sovereign Foam Gun and also comes with a spray nozzle for general cleaning. Sovereign can also supply paper towels for cleaning your workshop.
