Slate Sealer
Following the highly successful launch and sales of Sovereign Stone Sealer the market has requested a similar product designed specifically for use on porous surfaces such as Slate.
Sovereign Slate Sealer has been specifically formulated to provide long lasting protection to slate floors and work surfaces and other porous surfaces.
A single coat of Slate Sealer applied by soft cloth or decorators pad will provide instant matt finish protection to prevent staining from spillages. The sealer causes water and oils to bead on the surface allowing them to be cleaned off without penetrating and staining the surface.
A gloss finish can be achieved by the application of additional coats (but take care as this can create slip potential). Slate Sealer can also be applied to slate tiles the day before laying to prevent tiles becoming contaminated with adhesive/grout or can be applied after laying but prior to grouting, again to prevent tiles being contaminated with grout.
